Accessibility.
We're working to make fanbee.shop and the FanBee MF10 usable by as many people as possible. Here's where we are, and where we're going.
On the website
- We target WCAG 2.2 AA across pages, with semantic HTML and visible focus rings.
- All product imagery has descriptive alt text.
- Type sizes scale with browser zoom up to 200% without horizontal scrolling.
- Color combinations are tested for at least 4.5:1 contrast on body copy.
On the product
- The MF10's controls are large, high-contrast, and tactile.
- The companion app supports VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android).
- Voice control through Alexa and Google Home means hands-free operation for anyone who needs it.
- The LED status disc uses both color and shape so it remains readable for users with color-vision differences.
What's not perfect yet
We know our checkout has a couple of forms that could be friendlier with screen readers, and our press section currently relies on PDFs. We're rebuilding both in 2026.
